The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

As part of the Settlement John will require that Milwaukee Tools redesign the M18 saw, providing a second handle and knuckle guard set at right angles to the cutting blade in conformance with proven chain saw design to prevent further injuries (the easy way) or a punitive law suit for negligent design, personal injury, pain and continued suffering (the hard way) prosecuted by a personal injury lawyer.

Rest assured we at present are on the same side With respect [REDACTED]

The product, in the report: Milwaukee 2826 top handle chainsaw

I had the chainsaw, hand break engaged, and as I was lifting the chainsaw, I guess I actually hit the trigger and the chain spun and caught my hand and cut my hand and severed one of my tendond requiring me to have surgery. When the chain break is forward as in the video, the chain should not be able to turn.
