The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: [REDACTED] 1.5 hp gas link auger powerhead with 4 inch bit item number 60622

Hello I bought a gasoline powered post hole digger from [REDACTED] item number 6062 250 they say to store it with gasoline in the tank and following their directions with the gas additive in it. I soon found out that if you do this the gas tank will explode because of improper venting of the tank. If it would’ve done this while running it would’ve been a huge fireball. The fuel tank of this model should be recalled or taken off the market I have tried to contact them and so far they have not gotten back to me and it has been months.
