The product, in the report: Cub Cadet RT 65 model #21AB455C7109 Serial # 1L158K40253 Tiller
While tilling garden releasing the the on/off bar did not disengage transmission. I was in a bad spot, the tiller trapped me in the fence, pushed me in to and through fence, boot became trapped in fence, slammed the ground hard enough my head bounced. Fortunately the tiller became hung in the fence otherwise it would have run over me due to my boot being caught in fence.
After speaking to the people who do my small engine repairs they informed me that the belt that had failed was also responsible for disengaging the transmission. Until the incident the machine had performed flawlessly. They also informed me that if a pulley failed the same could happen.
