The product, in the report: Ace Hardware One Gallon Sprayer. I can not find any model number information printed or stamped on the product other than the Ace Hardware logo.
I have a one gallon Ace Hardware weed sprayer. I had filled the sprayer with weed killer and pumped it up, I pulled a few vines before spraying and when I returned to the sprayer I pumped the handle a few times to be sure it was still pressurized. The sprayer tank ruptured covering my legs and feet with weed killer. Apparently this sprayer was manufactured without any kind of over pressure relief valve and the pump is clearly capable of pumping enough pressure to cause the sprayer tank to fail.
