My husband sustained a severe hand injury due to our snowblower malfunctioning. The auger failed to disengage when the control lever is released and his hand was hit by the blades. He had to have emergency surgery on December 24. The snowblower is manufacturing by MTD which is owned by [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] recently issued a recall that states a very similar issue to the one that caused my husband injury: [REDACTED]
