No one hurt Made Nov 11, 2019, sent to the company Dec 13, 2019, published by CPSC Dec 31, 2019
The product, in the report: Snow blower
There is a carburetor issue that caused all the gas in the tank to empty onto my floor. Cub Cadet has issues with their carburetors. They blame it on the customers and claim they had a particle in the carburetor. They have no filter on this machine and claim they believe customers always have dirt in their gas. Either way, it is very dangerous that any condition that is fairly common would cause the machine to empty all its gas onto a garage floor. Their carburetors are so bad, replacements are only warranted for 30 days. I had it repaired and got it back only to have gas come out again when I tried to start it. These machines (model number 31AH54SC710) are not safe!
