The product, in the report: John Deere S130 Riding Lawnmower with mulching blades
I was mowing my lawn using the mulching blades on a John Deere S130 purchased approximately 14 months ago. It was a clear, cool day in [REDACTED] and I had been using the mower for approximately 1 hour when I noticed an ember at my foot. I immediately turned the mower off and ran to get a hose. By the time I reached the spigot, the entire engine was engulfed in flames. No one was injured and, thankfully, the wind kept the fire from spreading to nearby trees. Our local fire department was able to extinguish the fire leaving only the metal frame behind.
