The product, in the report: Whirlpool Duet Front Loading Washing Machine

Hello, In mid-December 2014, I purchased a brand new washing machine from Whirlpool Corporation. It has an electronic control panel. Once a month I have problems getting the machine to turn on so I called Whirlpool in early March and they referred me to one of their repair vendors. I took time off work and the technician said the problem is a defective electronic control panel something that happened on the manufacturing floor. The machine also makes a loud electrical noise where the electrical cord enter the rear of the machine. The technician was not sure about that problem. Although the repair vendor is sending the technician out to replace the defective, electrical control panel, I’m concerned about the very loud electrical noise that sometimes comes from the back of the machine. It sounds similar to a transformer malfunctioning. instead of repairing the control panel, I told Whirlpool and the repair vendor that I wanted a brand, new washing machine one that was no defects. But I was told the tech can repair the control panel and they think doing that will be enough. Regards, [REDACTED]
