The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: The Splat Frog is guaranteed to make a splash with your little one(s)! Just throw this gooey, gelatinous, squishy, icky frog at the wall and watch him stick! After he falls off, watch him reshape into his original form.

My 7 year old daughter got a “Splat Frog” toy for Christmas. She was playing with it close to her face and it burst squirting the liquid contents all over her eyes, face and mouth. The liquid is a gel like substance with a strong odor of perfume. We rushed her to the ER because of the incredible pain the substance was causing her being in her right eye. The ER took her immediately and irrigated the eye and checked for chemical abrasions. Luckily there were none. My daughters eye was swollen shut for the next 3 days. I have pictures.
