The product, in the report: Its called perfect pets. They are a stuffed animal that uses batteries and has a breathing function to act as a living pet.
Myself and the people who work with me had a shipment of these life like pet toys. When we got the boxes in these smelled highly of toxic fumes. We initially put them in our backroom by a door to ventilate. They sat in the backroom for about 3 weeks. When our sales rep came in the no longer smelled of anything, except to one employee. Smell aside the overall shared concern is that the items having an absorbent material(fake fur) they may still be contaminated. Since we have no way of testing the product for chemical ourselves, the staff including myself doesnt believe they should be out. However, even with our concerns I am positive the store owner will continue to leave them on the sales floor. Many employees have voiced thier concerns. We even had a regular customer who was in the store and works with chemicals say he wouldn’t try and sell them since he was in the day we recieved them.
