Purchased a “OSOCU Microwavable Weighted Stuffed Animal - Grey Elephant Heating Pad with Lavender & Tourmaline - Soothing Heatable for Menstrual Cramps, Muscle Aches, Neck & Shoulder Tension - Warm Compress Plush” off Amazon. Arrived in a plastic bag with no directions for heating. Put into the microwave and within seconds the ears were sparking. Fabric has metallic decoration sewn into the ears. Took it out after about 10 seconds and it was so hot I couldn’t touch the ears (burn danger). This item would have easily caught fire if left in the microwave longer. I purchased this for an infant to sooth colic. There is no way I would let this item anywhere near a child, no matter the age. Although I did not burn my fingers (quick test of the heat on the ears) I could see someone setting it in a crib after heating the recommended 1 minute and it burning a child. (Found on Amazon description to heat for 60 seconds - no way I’m even trying that as I’ll probably light the house on fire!
