Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

The product, in the report: Large stuffed unicorn
We had a large stuffed animal catch on fire in the house. The stuffed animal was covering a floor heater vent. The heater blows warm air at 112 F (I actually measured this). The stuffed animal was actually engulfed in flames, and we managed to get it to a bath tub to extinguish the flames. There were no other heat sources near the stuffed animal, just the heater vent. The fire department chief said that he has never seen anything like this, and had no explanation for why the stuffed animal caught on fire from such a mild heat source.
