The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: KTEBO 2 Pack 10 Inch LCD Writing Tablet for Kids, Electronic Drawing Pad and Doodle Board for Ages 3-8, Birthday and Christmas Gifts for Boys and Girls,Back to School Gift Drawing Board (Pink & Blue) Visit the KTEBO Store

I have an electronic-erasing drawing tablet I bought cheaply on Amazon, which is marketed to be suitable for ages 3-8. The amazon listing shows “5k+ bought in past month” from this one seller alone. The product is powered by an included small lithium coin cell battery which can very easily be popped out by pressing on the battery slot - I accidentally popped it out when handling the tablet. A kid could easily pop out and then ingest the battery, leading to death. The product had no warnings about the danger of coin cell batteries to children, blatantly disregarding Reese’s Law.

The product in question appears on Amazon under the following title: “KTEBO 2 Pack 10 Inch LCD Writing Tablet for Kids, Electronic Drawing Pad and Doodle Board for Ages 3-8, Birthday and Christmas Gifts for Boys and Girls,Back to School Gift Drawing Board (Pink & Blue)”. It’s ASIN on Amazon was B0BQDN8LSH

No injury happened to me, but I am very concerned this could lead to injuries or worse, especially since many tens of thousands have likely been sold across multiple sellers on Amazon in the past month.
