Made Jul 15, 2026, sent to the company Aug 18, 2026, published by CPSC Sep 2, 2026

The product, in the report: squishy toy

The consumer purchased a children’s toy box advertised as containing four toys. Upon opening the product, the consumer discovered that the box also contained a syringe and needles. These items were not listed as part of the product and are inappropriate and potentially dangerous for children.

After discovering the syringe and needles, the consumer contacted the company. The company offered a refund for the purchase. However, the consumer believes the issue presents a serious safety risk and feels that offering a refund is insufficient. She expressed that the company should be investigated and potentially shut down due to the severity of the hazard and the risk posed to children.

The consumer is extremely concerned that a children’s product was shipped with medical sharps. She stated that this could have caused injury or exposed a child to biological or contamination risks. She is requesting that the CPSC investigate the company’s manufacturing and packaging practices to ensure that no other children are put at risk.

The consumer requests that the CPSC:

Review the company’s safety and quality-control procedures Investigate how medical sharps were included in a children’s toy product Take any necessary regulatory or enforcement action to prevent future incidents
