The product, in the report: “3D Kinetic Spring”--on package. It is a metal, versatile coil... also called a “Magic Flow Ring”... there is an overwhelming amount of the same/ similar products from different manufacturers
I purchased the “3D Kinetic Spring” for my 8-year-old child at approximately 6pm on Friday, July, 27th. Within 2 hours of purchasing it, we had to cut and remove it from around his neck. My husband and I were in the front seats of our vehicle, driving, and heard stifled wimpering. We turned to see the “toy” compressing his neck. Fortunately, we were in town and quickly thinking, my husband ran across the street to purchase wire cutters (we have the package and receipt). I was able to wedge my fingers between the coils and his neck and relieve some of the pressure. I also photographed the situation as we waited. It was a terrifying ordeal... the “what if’s” still haunt me. The toy is presented as being versatile on the package. He saw the image of the toy as a “bracelet” and thought it could also be a necklace. We are worried that other children will get hurt or strangled. There are many variations of this product available from different manufacturers.
