The product, in the report: We have a DoorMaster Garage Door Opener made by Wayne Dalton. I believe it is Model BDOR-2000. The motor and main battery are directly above the door. It has a cable that goes out the right side of the motor/battery and that cable goes to the right side of the door. It is a different style than most garage doors.
I have two garage doors with separate motors. One of the garage doors wouldn’t open, but I could hear the motor running. I wasn’t sure if something was blocking the door or what was going on so I went over to look at it. While I was looking at it the motor came off the wall and hit me on the head. I needed 3 stitches and could possibly have a concussion.
The motor is still hanging by the cable (which opens up the door) off the wall. I’m still not sure what happened. There was nothing blocking the door, so there must be something wrong with the motor/door mechanism.
