The product, in the report: The product is a Mushie Pour & Play Bath Set, a children’s bath-time water-play toy intended for babies and toddlers. The set includes small cup-like pouring pieces designed to be used in the bathtub or shower for sensory water play. Each piece is approximately 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches by 4.75 inches and includes a suction cup/handle component so it can attach to a bath or shower surface while water is poured through it. The toy is marketed for children 10 months and older. The broken item in my set is the light blue pouring cup piece, with matching light-blue suction/handle parts.
A Mushie Pour & Play bath toy broke during normal use. A plastic piece broke off, leaving a loose shard-like piece. This creates a potential choking and/or laceration hazard for a toddler. No injury occurred, but I’m concerned because this is a children’s bath toy and the broken piece could be mouthed.
