The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. First aid

Made Aug 6, 2024, sent to the company Aug 9, 2024, published by CPSC Aug 30, 2024

The product, in the report: The product is the Original Koosh Sharp Shot which contains an electronic target, 3 Koosh Flingers, and 2 Shooters.

My six year old child was gifted an Original Koosh Sharp Shot toy which has an electronic target and rubberized Koosh Flingers which are soft rubberized balls with rubber band like attachments that are sling shot at the target using the shooters to loop the rubber band around and pull back the ball to aim at the target. My child pulled back on a Koosh Flinger from a shooter but accidentally let go of the hard plastic shooter instead of the Koosh Flinger. The hard plastic shooter flipped around the rubber band part of the Koosh Flinger and struck him hard in the face. It just missed his eye and could blind any child. The Original Koosh Sharp Shot manual says the product is from PlayMonster, LLC, and is licensed by Hasbro, and that Koosh is a trademark of Oddzon, Inc.
