The product, in the report: Its a squishy dumpling toy. This smell is causing a headache and sore throat

We purchased two Mystery Squashy Dumplings toys from WINCO Foods stores in Winchester, CA and Temecula, CA, priced at $4.98 each. When we opened the first toy, it released a very strong chemical odor immediately. The smell was similar to rubber cement and acetone, sharp and solventlike. We opened the second toy to compare, and it had the exact same strong chemical smell. The odor was intense enough to fill the room and caused headaches shortly after exposure. Because these toys are intended for children, we became concerned about possible chemical exposure or unsafe materials. We did not allow any child to handle them and ultimately threw both toys away due to the severity of the smell. The toys were used normally according to packaging, and the odor was present immediately upon opening the sealed containers.
