The product, in the report: JA-RU IrreSquishTible! Squeezy Bear Toy for children. This particular toy was filled with green glitter gel and came in a 2-pack with another bear.
On Jan 24, 2026, my 6-yr old daughter received 2nd-3rd degree chemical burns on her face, neck and collar bone from JA-RUs IrreSquishTible! Squeezy Bear Toy. The glitter gel-filled squishy bear burst open on her shirt when she was playing with it. When she took off her shirt, the gel made contact with the skin on her face and neck. Minutes later, she was hysterically crying about burning pain on her face. The skin on her chin and neck was visibly melting off. Almost 2 months later, the open wound has healed, but remains a large red scar marring her face. JA-RUs gel-filled toys need to be removed from store shelves to protect children. If IrreSquishtible! gel gets in a childs eyes or mouth, injuries could be very severe. The toy was purchased about a month earlier from a WinCo Foods in Vancouver, WA.
