The product, in the report: Childrens magnetic building cube set sold on Walmart.com as Magnetic Building Cubes 100pcs STEM Educational Magnet World Building Set. The set contains 100 small, colorful cube-shaped magnetic building blocks with printed designs including grass, stone, brick, wood and water. The cubes contain small magnets inside that allow children to connect the blocks together to build structures. I purchased two 100-piece sets. The Walmart Marketplace seller was Casrra.
I purchased two 100-piece sets of Casrra magnetic building cubes through Walmart. During normal play, four separate blocks have popped open, exposing the very small magnets inside. Some of the magnets came completely out of the blocks.
These are childrens toys, and I am extremely concerned that a child could swallow the loose magnets. Because multiple blocks have failed, I have removed both sets from my children and stopped using them.
I am reporting this because I believe the product presents a serious ingestion hazard and should be investigated. I have photos showing the opened blocks and loose magnets.
