Hurt, no treatment Made Feb 25, 2024, sent to the company Feb 29, 2024, published by CPSC Mar 14, 2024
The product, in the report: Baby Einstein piano by Hape. Made from natural tone plywood with primary color keys that are touch sensitive. Not mechanical keys. It has light green plastic feet.
The baby Einstein piano by Hape toys is unstable due to poor design. When played by my nine month old daughter in a belly on the ground position the piano flips forward suddenly striking my daughter with some force right on the nose. The front facing legs are set too far back to counter act any downward playing force causing the front heavy piano to flip forward causing injury.
