Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Long plain blue plastic horn 2-3 feet long

I bought a 2-3 foot long plastic horn for my child at Five And Below. There was no minimum age limit on the horn. My daughter is 2 years, 8 months. Within 4 hours of the purchase, my daughter had put the horn in her mouth while standing. She was not running or jumping or horsing around. I was standing right next to her about to change her diaper. When she put the horn in her mouth, she screamed and there was blood dripping from her mouth. I brought her to her pediatrician. My daughter now has a torn frenulum, bruising to the roof of her mouth, and also multiple abrasions/lacerations on the floor of her mouth from this product.
