Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Mar 14, 2026, sent to the company Apr 21, 2026, published by CPSC May 5, 2026

The product, in the report: EKids Ms Rachel Microphone Toy [REDACTED] https://www.walmart.com/ip/9739511427?sid=5fefdd65-3b60-4268-b6e1-dc938f1d4e61

My daughter was playing with the miss Rachel microphone toy that plays music when a button is pressed, when a second button is pressed it activated the microphone to be played on the same speaker which is very close to the microphone piece on the device. She isn’t too familiar with the concept of a microphone but even so normal microphones don’t have a speaker in the same spot or near the place you talk into, well she was covering the top of it with her hand or blanket moving it around somehow and it created a extremely loud high pitched noise that hurt my ears from across the room almost like if I stood directly in front of a loudspeaker with a guitar or real mic. This could make someone go deaf. Seriously. She somehow made it happen twice so I took it away once I was sure the noise was coming from the toy.
