  1. No one hurt

Made Jul 4, 2024, sent to the company Jul 9, 2024, published by CPSC Jul 24, 2024

The product, in the report: Chefman Electric Hot Water Pot Urn w/Auto & Manual Dispense Buttons, Safety Lock, Instant Heating for Coffee & Tea, Auto-Shutoff & Boil Dry Protection, Insulated Stainless Steel, 3.6L/3.8 Qt/20+ Cups.

We’ve been using this hot water dispenser for maybe a year and a half https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W4DT2G9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1. One morning we lifted it by the carrying handle and it completely fell apart and dismantled itself. Luckily I didn’t get burned but the chance was very high. Looking through the current reviews there are a few stories which match ours and even a few people who have had their forearms burned on the amazon page. This is a huge hazard as this thing boils hot water and the last thing people expect is it to fall apart when being held.
