The product, in the report: 24V Can-Am Maverick X3 Kids Ride-On Buggy (Red) https://bigtoysdirect.com/products/24v-can-am-maverick-x3-kids-ride-on-buggy-red
On July 6, 2025, this battery-powered ride-on car spontaneously caught fire while parked outdoors. It was not in use, not charging, and had no external heat source. The fire destroyed the vehicle and burned surrounding grass. The fire appears to have started in the battery/motor housing. There were no injuries, but this was a serious fire hazard that could have harmed children or property. Photos of the car before and after are available.
