The product, in the report: Water Heater Purchase date: 1st unit 2018, 2nd unit 2020
01/08/2023 - The consumer indicates that his water heater heating element anode component is corroding through, allowing water to touch the thermostat on top of the unit.
The consumer contacted the Manufacturer and explained the situation; the representative he spoke with informed him that as long as they could repair it then there was nothing wrong with the unit. A technician was dispatched 01/12/2023 and fixed the unit. This would be the second time a representative has fixed the same problem.
The consumer is unsure if he will keep his unit for at least the next thirty days in case an investigation ensues.
