The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Scooter- two wheels, metal, green and silver colored. Adjustable steering height. Can collapse for carrying. There is a white sticker on the bottom of it with the following information: Winston Company, Inc., [REDACTED], WIJ100726, Model number TRZ021GR-1

My son, age 4, was riding his brother’s scooter in the driveway. He turned the steering wheel and fell. He hit his face on the bracket that adjusts the steering column height. The bracket is very sharp. It sliced into his face next to his nose. The gash required sutures or glue. We chose glue. His nose was also fractured. The hospital said we may want to consider plastic surgery later.
