The product, in the report: My seven year old daughter was riding an S&S Woldwide Spectrum 16” Scooter at an after school program. She was doing so indoors on a polished concrete floored gymnasium. She had been riding on her knees, and upon dismounting, got her shoe stuck in one of the handles, lost her balance and struck her mouth on the hard ground, snapping her two top front teeth in half (horizontally) and cutting/bruising her top lip. Emergency dental filling was necessary and the teeth may die, requiring root canal and/or implant. Best case scenario will be that she gets crowns or other similar reconstructive surgery to restore/repair her smile. Her mouth is in pain over a week later, despite use of childrens strength OTC pain killers. We are worried this will become very expensive and she may never have the same smile ever again. The handle design and wide platform plus small caster wheels may need revised for greater stability, and more thorough warnings and precautionary usage direction should be made conspicuous. She was using it as directed by the manufacturer and supervisory personnel, and yet our family is dealing with a traumatic injury and uncertain future.
