The product, in the report: 3-wheel scooter Amazon ASIN: B075GK8Z7F
The submitter’s daughter was riding the scooter when the front right wheel fell off and caused her to fall. The submitter said his daughter was riding the scooter for about 15 minutes before the incident occurred. He also said she was going about 3 miles per hour when the incident occurred.
The submitter went online to research the scooter and found that it was a replica to a [REDACTED] scooter made by [REDACTED]. He then decided to purchase this product.
Upon inspecting both scooters he found that the replica had a plastic wheel bearing compared to the [REDACTED] scooter that had a metal wheel bearing. He also noticed the quality of the [REDACTED] scooter is better than the replica.
The submitter then contacted the retailer, Amazon to report his findings and concerns. The submitter received a response in which they thanked him for the information and informed him that they would not reach out to him regarding their investigation. The submitter noticed that another consumer reported a similar issue to Amazon on January 2, 2018 and there were 11 more complaints about a safety concern. The submitter said he found all of this information in the reviews section of the product page on Amazon.com.
The submitter also contacted the U.S. distributor of the replica scooter who is Global eTrade Services and reported his safety concerns. The firm offered the submitter a refund but didn’t address any of his concerns about replicating another model or whether they would investigate the faulty parts.

I have not found this particular model sold anywhere else, but Wal-Mart does carry this brand of scooters. I would imagine all of them suspect of malfunction and poor design/core components.
