The product, in the report: Scooters for Kids,Kingo Wide Deck 3 Wheels Scooter 4 Years and Up with T-Bar Handle 150lb Weight Limit Kick Scooter (Blue)
We purchased a scooter for my 5 year old son on Amazon (order # 111-7811314-4238626) on May 5th. The item was listed as:”Scooters for Kids, Kingo Wide Deck 3 Wheels Scooter 4 Years and Up with T-Bar Handle 150lb Weight Limit Kick Scooter (Blue)” sold by KINGO HOUSEHOLD LTD. Amazon told me the manufacturer was fascol, and the model was the 21st Scooter (www.fascol.com). Today, at around 5pm, coming back from the Park, the front left wheel disassembled and came off abruptly and my son crashed head on on the pavement. Because he was wearing a helmet, his injuries were contained to head and cheek open wounds, broken lips, left arm scratched, and both knees scratched. It is still too early to say if he suffered a concussion or deeper wounds. It is clear to me such a new product was defective and needs to be recalled to avoid more accidents.
