  1. No one hurt

Made Jun 30, 2026, sent to the company Jul 2, 2026, published by CPSC Jul 17, 2026

The product, in the report: The Learning Resources Ocean Emotions Seashells toy has breakaway seashells with little characters inside. The toy is marketed for 18 months and older. My son was playing with them, he is two. He was able to completely fit inside his mouth the little characters- starfish and pufferfish. I was right there and able to intervene but if he was playing out of eye sight he would have choked. The little characters are less than 2 inches wide and fit easily inside his mouth completely. He could close his mouth with the toy inside.

My two year old son was playing with the Learning Resources Ocean Emotions Seashells toy. This has breakable seashells that open to little characters. The characters are small enough to completely fit into my two year olds mouth. The target age on the product is 18 months.
