Hurt, no treatment Made Oct 3, 2026, sent to the company Oct 7, 2026, published by CPSC Oct 22, 2026
The product, in the report: B. Toys Pop-o-Color Ball Tower sold at Target. The tower lights up and uses a button to resend the ball to the top.
My 13 month old son was playing with the B. Toys Pop-o-Color Ball Tower and got his hand stuck inside the bottom opening while retrieving a ball. I believe he leaned on the button to push the balls back to the top which raised the lift inside the tower and caused his hand to be trapped. The lift was stuck partially upraised and I was able to consistently replicate getting the lift stuck in a partially raised position after the incident. At his age he is unable to use the force required to use the button to push the ball back up to the top of the tower which is why he gets the ball with his hand to replace it at the top. He was crying and unable to get his hand out by himself. He has a small scrape on his wrist from the incident.

No one hurt Made Nov 12, 2023, sent to the company Dec 8, 2023, published by CPSC Dec 22, 2023
The product, in the report: Block sorter with wooden and plastic pegs that can be hammered through holes.
We purchased a toy for our son that included several blocks that could be hammered through tight openings with an included wooden mallet. When inspecting one of the plastic blocks today I noticed a large crack and it seemed like the plastic block would soon shatter into possibly dangerous plastic shards.
