The product, in the report: Purple electric blanket sold through Amazon, seller is Octrot. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0D2W84NQR?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image. 50x60 blanket. Heated Blanket Electric Throw, 50X60, Heating Throw with 10 Heating Levels & 8 Hours Auto Off, Purple Plaid Checkered Sherpa Blanket Warmer for Adults, Couch Bed Office Use, Fast Heating Washable, ETL

I had an electric blanket where the cord connects to the control broke causing a burn mark on my floor and sparking. The product that was used is https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0D2W84NQR?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image. After looking at reviews this seems to be a common issue with this blanket. It was used as a normal electric blanket. No injury but definitely a fire hazard.
