The product, in the report: Beurer cozy-soft fleece throw heated blanket
On 6/12/23, shortly before [REDACTED] AM CT, my twelve year old came into my bedroom to report her bed burning. There I found her Beurer cozy-soft fleece throw smoking and burning through her bed and bedding. I used a fire extinguisher to quell the burning that had spread into the mattress my child was laying on while asleep. The overheat failsafe failed. Chunks of the blanket melted to my child resulting in second degree burns.
