The product, in the report: Assorted box smoke fireworks from Walmart by TNT

Hello! Yesterday we purchased this Fireworks package from tnt at walmart . We lit the mummy smoke firework, and instead of smoking it exploded, thankfully My husband had backed up by that time, but we thought it was a smoke bomb so we couldve easily not have. We had our kids watching as well surrounding it thinking it was just a smoke bomb. It exploded, throwing pieces into the air and couldve easily been a dangerous situation. I also reached out to the company.

The product, in the report: It is a California Candle made by TNT. It is pretty much like a Roman candle. Shoots sparks out the top end and has a handle to hold.

I tried contacting TNT fireworks about 2 fireworks that exploded in mine and my friends hands this past Friday. TNT fireworks failed to contact me back. So I wanted to make sure that the public knows they are not safe. The country needs to know about this so kids don’t get hurt using them for the 4th of July. When I lit the California Candle I held it at the handle where it says to hold it. Then it exploded in my hand and shot out the back end right into my stomach. That left a massive welt and bruise on my stomach and my stomach was bleeding. Then a few minutes later the same thing happened to my buddy with another California Candle. I’m very upset that they never responded back to me after there firework malfunctioned. The public needs to know to stay safe and stay away from TNT fireworks. I have picture proof if you need to see that.

The product, in the report: TNT Fireworks (manufacturer). Item # CP1413 Sparkler - Mini California Fountain

On Sunday, June 25th my fiance purchased a 3 pack “Mini California Rocket Fountain” at our local supermarket (Big Y Supermarket) in Mansfield, CT. The manufacturer is TNT Fireworks.

Two of the sparklers worked as expected although the effect was inconsistent - one barely showered sparkles while the other was more prevalent.

The third one exploded as soon as the fuse was lit. The explosion was violent and exploded upwards into my face, injuring my right eye and leaving lacerations on my right side of my face.

The explosion was so loud, it actually caused my neighbors concern as it sounded like a loud shotgun blast.
