Independent day celebration weekend setting off fireworks. We used roman candles predominantly. The winda brand break of dawn model chrysanthemum was lit and there must have been low or faulty propellant because normally they rise to 75-100’in the air and burst. This one only made it 10’ high and burst almost hitting my wifes foot who was 25’ from the roman candle. My 9 year old son was traumatized sitting next to her ran off screaming in fear. I wouldn’t be so upset about this, but we had a similar situation last year from the same distributer Atlas Fireworks and brought it to their attention. We were assured that they would contact the manufacturer and prevent issues like this in the future. We’ll here we are a year later and the same dam problem happened again with my wife being pissed and son scared to death. What a great way to celebrate America’s 250th with a really upset family...
