The product, in the report: Regulator Inlet Nipple
The consumer says that for his job he tests and repairs regulators. He has repaired 10-20,000 regulators over 17 years and is thoroughly knowledgeable. He said initially that 90% of this particular regulator that were tested are bad and leak which pose a fire hazard.
The caller spoke with the company in February, and there response was very poor. He was told that they were going to issue a recall and send him replacements. He received two separate batches directly from the company which are also all bad. The consumer says that the last batch still had a failing rate of 20%.
The consumer has a $7000 claim against the manufacturer due to having to repair them.
