The product, in the report: 12in. Propane gas connector pigtail
When one propane tank is removed to be filled and this pigtail is disconnected, propane gas leaks out of the end that was disconnected from the tank causing a very hazardous condition. The only safe way to operate with this type of hose is to turn off both tanks when removing one for filling. If you are traveling with your refrigerater running you normally would not shut down that tank. Nowhere on the package does it mention that hazard. The hoses that this pigtail replaces has a check ball inside for safety to stop back flow of highly flammable propane and this newer style does not. It is a disaster waiting to happen. When I call several different places for info on parts they are clueless and have no idea how they work and consult a company engineer. Something is wrong with this part and it needs to be investigated. Thank You
