  1. No one hurt

Made Aug 5, 2017, sent to the company Dec 29, 2017, published by CPSC Jan 16, 2018

The product, in the report: Flexible hose to comect a 5 gal portable LPG tank to a BBQ

4 foot adapter hose from portable 5 gal propane tank to outdoor BBQ developed a leak at the end that was attached to the tank. No leak noted when it was hooked up but if the hose was touched high pressure propane would leak from the fitting. Removing the hose from the tank and cleaning all the fittings several times did not change the leak. No injuries or damage as I was checking for leaks after changing tank and noted the leak if the hose was touched. Leak was around the metal tubing running from the tank adapter into the hose. his hose has been in service for less than two years and shows no obvious damage. Hose in question was manufactured by Chen Fong Ent. LTD. Model GHA1 Lot #031647.
