The product, in the report: Avalanche transceiver beacon. Pieps DSP Sport
After a day of Snowbike riding on Mt Adams I found my Black Diamond DSP avalanche transceiver had turned itself off. I know it was set in the send position in the morning as we did a transceiver check before riding. I am also aware of the issue with this device so I always check the button is locked when turning it on.
I found there is a recall for Black Diamonds DSP Pro, DSP Pro Ice and DSP Sport avalanche transceivers and contacted Black Diamond to request the upgraded holder. The response I received is the recall is currently only for Europe.

I do not feel safe using this transceiver and have found a number of similar reports where the device will change modes due to a faulty button design.
