The product, in the report: High pressure scuba hose
2 weeks ago, I had a rubber HP hose fail in the same manner (rupturing at the male connector crimped end) as the Innovative Scuba, Trident and A-Plus Marine braided hoses that have been recalled. It is 3/8 X 32 inches and has a 11Q3 stamp on the fitting, so I believe that it was manufactured by Li Chung Plastics like those hoses that have already recalled. There is printing on the hose that includes the words “WITH KEVLAR BRAID FROM DUPONT”. This was sold to me by Scuba Choice, in Chino California and I have contacted them, Innovative and A-Plus about this incident. I have only heard back from Innovative and they told me that they didn’t import this hose and that I should contact Scuba Choice. There is no real wear or corrosion on the hose or connector and this happened after approximately 120 dives. Thankfully this failed right before the start of the dive and there was a spare regulator on the boat. I have posted photos of my hose on scubaboard.com and here’s the link: http://www.scubaboard.com/community/threads/phantom-high-pressure-hose-recall.429647/
