The product, in the report: Aqua Lung Pearl BCD
When I tried in the water to remove the SureLock II rubber handle with weight pocket from my BCD, the handle broke off. I could not remove the weights. Once I managed to get back on the dive boat, four strong men, two pulling on each end, spent a couple of minutes attempting to remove the weight pocket.
Back on the boat, I discovered the other weight pocket handle was almost completely broken in two, so both were defective.
I was never contacted by Aqua Lung about the recall that occurred in March.
