  1. Hurt, care not known

Made Dec 10, 2019, sent to the company Jan 9, 2020, published by CPSC Jan 24, 2020

The product, in the report: WF-FM100 Water Faucet Filtration System

I was advised to file this complaint to your offices. In May of2019, I tired to make a cup of coffee, to get filtered water I used my DuPont Faucet Water Filtration System WF-FM l 00 to get as i thought filtered water top make the coffee. I am a senior 79 years of age. There is a black plastic knob that you need to turn to get filtered water. As I turned the black plastic knob to get filtered water “it shot out like an arrow hitting and side of my left eye” which this was witnessed. I almost lost my left eye. This is a very dangerous and defective product made by DuPont. On May 14, 2019 I emailed their CEO’s office to alert them of this defect and their customer service. No communications. I emailed their legal dept again no communications. Several months have past and still no communications from DuPont. I saved the defective product as evidence as well. Please file my complaint. Thank you Because of this witnessed horrific event from a defective DuPont product, to not be given any concern from DuPont by no communications or concern, I was advised to request a monetary damage of$ 10,000 from DuPont. I am a senior 79 years of age that almost lost her left eye, this was a very horrific event for a senior to go through. DuPont knows this is a defective product their WF-FM100 Water Faucet Filtration System and to not show any concern for this consumer is appalling. I am requesting this monetary damage or claim against DuPont. Thank you
