The product, in the report: Crossbow with gun sight installed
drawing the crossbow into a firing position and loading an arrow (bolt) and then moving the firing mechanism from the “safety” position to ready “fire” position immediately releases the arrow (bolt). This led to the arrow being fired without me (the operator) squeezing the trigger and released the arrow in a direction I had not desired. The release of the arrow/bolt also caused the crossbow string to strike my right thumb causing extreme pain and resultant bruising/damage on the thumbnail.
