The product, in the report: tenpoint cross bow stealth model
ten point cross bow stealth model...cocking the crossbow up in the tree stand..the foot strip broke just before full draw ... with a draw weight of 185 lbs it is releasing the bow rearward toward my face it was so close it brushed the whiskers on my chin.. if the butt of the stock would have connected with all that force should have KILLED me if not the fall from the tree stand would have .. I called ten point about it and they said .... thats one part that is not covered under warranty sorry ... they should be sued and damn good too .... I feel very lucky to be alive... that aluminum foot strip should be replaced. I brought it to their attention but they did nothing for me or recalled this as I am unaware ... I guess it has to happen to right person like the OWNER .... .the epitaph should read.... HE NEVER KNEW WHAT HIT HIM... correcting this so it never happens again will keep the user safe from being maimed crippled or outright killed .. or was it all really BAD LUCK on my part that this happened .. I truly feel that I am lucky to tell you this ... ( incident happen over 5 yrs ago }
