The product, in the report: Green and white, wooden (composite) Granny’s House play structure, covered in the middle with a porch on each end. Pickets/spindles surround both porch areas.
The Ralph J. Stolle Countryside YMCA purchased a Granny’s House play structure for our outdoor preschool playground. We recently had 2 children get their legs stuck in the spindles/pickets on the porch of the structure. In both cases the children had no trouble getting their legs in but became stuck at the knee when pulling their leg out from between the pickets. The second incident occurred on 6/22/11. The first incident occurred earlier this spring. During the second incident the child’s knees began to swell before we were able to get him free from the structure. The next day he had bruises on both knees as a result of the incident.
