The product, in the report: It’s a large playhouse, about 14’ x 14’. It has 2 swings and 1 glider, monkey bars, and a rock wall and slide. The bottom portion of the playhouse has a door with a window that opens to the underside of the slide. The structure is cedar wood and the accents like the white windows, are plastic.
Building a playhouse for my kids I found a huge design flaw with the rock wall placement per the instructions. It assumes the wood will fit flush against the frame OVER the Hex Bolt and that simply isn’t possible. The gap it leaves is structurally unsafe to climb and any other placement of the wall hinders or alters the design purpose. I’ve reached out to others who have purchased the product and have made alterations to fix the issue but again, that makes the entire structure unsafe for kids. I made the report and the manufacturer insists there is nothing they can do. No injuries have been reported but there should not be a wait for one.
