The product, in the report: Skywalker Trampolines 48 In. Round Zoo Adventure Bouncer with Enclosure
We purchased a small trampoline with a netting enclosure, and within a few months of use by small children (as advertised), the netting developed multiple large tears, severely compromising the safety for use by children.

The product, in the report: Trampoline
You assisted us two years ago with a rotting Trampoline net. The manufacturer replaced it with an improved net free of charge. Now we have a severely rotting safety pad which has been cited by other customers as a problem. See photos. I discussed this with the manufacturer (Skywalker Trampolines) but they said it is out of warranty. I am contacting you because the consumers are not being informed that the trampolines are not designed for year round weather exposure. The warranty on parts is only 90 days. My neighbor has a different brand and his pad has not rotted like ours. His trampoline has been up for about the same amount of time.
We are requesting your assistance. I would like the company to send me a new pad and also make it clear when they sell that their products are not designed to be left up all year. Everyone (that I know of) that has a trampoline leaves them up all year because dis-assembly and storage are problematic.
Also, could you obtain/determine their field risk for jump surface failure. They did not seem to want to disclose this when I asked. They said it could happen but did not say if it has. I do not want my kids to get paralyzed or die because of the jump surface failing.

I have read some other review on this product for the same issue where the circle steel frame enclosure keep coming off.
This was only used by a 3 year old and 5 year old boy only at home. The limit on the trampolines is 100 lbs and designed for age 3 and up. The side circle metal rail are not safe at all. When my 3year old, 40lbs boy jump and bounce, the side rail that was supposed to keep the child secure came off within 10 mins and might poke toddler body part or even eyes and can cause blindness. The netting rip easily within a few month and can cause little kid fall out from the trampolines.
The metal part (side curved railings – [part number 2) always comes off, so often that even after fixing this it will still came off. The trampoline is setup for indoor used only and is placed on flat surface as suggested by the manufacturer. This is supposed to be designed for active little kids that loves bouncing and jumping so the enclosure should stay in place bot falling apart.
The side rail whenever comes off makes it dangerous and can harm a perfectlly healthy kid. It could hurt the body or vital body parts, like eyes, and can cause fatal and permanent injury. Please keep our future generation safe and have the company fix this defect. I would hate to see if something happen to a little child while this can be prevented. Thanks I have picture of the defect if needed.
Thanks.

No one hurt Made Aug 17, 2012, sent to the company Aug 30, 2012, published by CPSC Sep 14, 2012
The product, in the report: skywalker trampolines http://www.skywalkerholdings.com it is the square 13’ trampoline.
The straps that hold the trampoline mat become weathered and break making it so the trampoline has nothing to support kids when they are jumping. I called the company and they said they do not use UV protected straps. The straps attach the springs to the frame of the trampoline mat and are sewn into the mat. I have multipe straps that have broken off during this summer and have made the trampoline unsafe for the kids to use. I have had it for approximatly 3 years so I didn’t think the trampoline would go bad so quickly. It is manufactured by skywalkerholdings and is the square 13’ trampoline.

The product, in the report: Skywalker Trampolines 15 ft. Round Trampoline with Spring Pad
WE have had this trampoline for over two years now. The netting is terrible and doesn’t do its job. If anyone leans on it the netting rips. There have been at least 3 incidents with my children and their cousins have fallen through after the net ripped when they had fallen onto the netting. We have tried to sew the netting to repair it, but that doesn’t work either.
Incident #1: 2 yr old child was jumping and fell back onto the netting and it ripped and she flipped over the bar and fell to the ground. She hurt her head.
Incident #2 : A 6 and 7 year old were jumping and there was a small hole that ripped open and they fell through it onto the ground together.. One child complained of elbow pain and the other complained of back and head pain.
