The product, in the report: 013290 KidActive mini trampoline

This is a KidActive brand mini-trampoline. My daughter was simply stepping off of the trampoline in the living room on the carpet. She tripped on the padding of the trampoline which is only a few inches off the ground and broke both main bones in her forearm completely in half when breaking her fall with her arms. The problem with this trampoline is the padding around the base which was installed properly, is loose around the trampoline and causes tripping very easily. My daughter was not using the trampoline incorrectly, This trampoline can cause these kinds of falls and serious injury. This happened on Christmas eve 2011, she had to spend Christmas eve in the hospital and have surgery on her arm the next morning, Christmas day! She then had to wear a full arm non-waterproof cast for 8 weeks followed by a shorter cast for 3 more weeks. Because her bones broke completely in half, her bones are still quite crooked and she will have to go to the doctor for an entire year. The hope is that the bones will grow and eventually straighten themselves out. What kind of liability does the trampoline co m have? This trampoline padding is not safe!
